Our Reglazing Process
Preparing the Work Area
- The first thing we’ll do is cover the areas and all the fixtures surrounding the fixture that will be refinished. If we need to reglaze tiles, the grout may have to be removed
- Our expert repairs all the chips and dents. If there are signs of rust, we will carefully remove them. Afterwards, the fixture is sanded down until all of the old coating is removed.
Priming the Fixture
- The surface of the fixture is cleaned thoroughly.
- A primer is applied to the entire surface of the fixture in one or two layers. This primer will help the coating adhere perfectly.
Applying the Coating
- We will apply one or two layers of coating evenly over the entire surface of the fixture.
- After 48 hours of curing, you can use the fixture. Avoid using cleaning solutions for 7 days though.
